How I Used Self Hypnosis to Stop Smoking

Author: Jay  |  Category: Self Improvement, self hypnosis-stop smoking  |  Comments (0)  |  Add Comment

I had a terrible habit! I was a smoker! I couldn’t go anywhere without my pack of cigarettes and a lighter. If I ever lost or forgot my cigatettes or lighter, I would also lose my mind. Those little sticks of cancer really had a grip on me. I needed to get away from them before it was too late! That’s when I started studying self hypnosis to stop smoking.

I already knew a lot about conversational hypnosis, but didn’t know much when it came to self hypnosis. I honestly thought that it was all just a bunch of hype, but then as I started reading more into it, I realized that self hypnosis is basicaly NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming). There is science that backs NLP, so it can’t be all hype! Science doesn’t believe in hype!

Although it would be impossible to share with you every single detail about how I used self hypnosis to stop smoking, I will share the basics with you. Hopefully, this post will motivate you to want to learn more about this stuff, and ultimately finally escape from the grasp of death known as cigarettes!

The Mindset

You have to have the right mindset. It’s very easy to say “I want to quit smoking”, but so many people say those words, and never take action. If you were to rephrase that same self-talk sentence to “I must quit smoking or I will not live to see my grandchildren grow older”, the chances of your mind WANTING to take action will be much higher.

See, as humans, we naturally want to do whatever it takes to avoid pain and experience pleausure. Unfortunately, we do a very crappy job of evaluating long-term pain or pleasure. Those cigarettes that you love to smoke so much bring you a lot of pleasure when they go to your lips. When your longs inhale the toxic smoke, your brain sends signals of pleasure throughout your body! Your body and brain are way too happy to even consider the long term effects of smoking- even though deep down, you know that smoking can kill you!

I highly recommend checking out a few books on NLP. You will learn so much more about the pain -vs- pleasure battle that goes on inside of us every day.

The Punishment

Once you get the right mindset and realize that you will experience much more pain in the future from smoking, you can start to reinforce this mindset. Here is how I did it:

Every time I had a single thought of smoking a cigarette, I would drop down and do 25 push-ups. Instead of thinking about smoking, I immediately switched my focus to getting in shape and doing push-ups. During the first few days, this was shear punishment. I thought of smoking A LOT; therefore, I did A LOT of push-ups!

After a few days of this punishment, my body started to get pleasure out of doing push-ups. I noticed my arms getting bigger, and I felt much more in shape! During the times that I usually thought of smoking a cigarette, my mind said “wait a minute guy… I like doing push-ups much more than smoking! Let’s do push-up’s instead!”

3 Months Later

It has been three months since I started to trick my mind into wanting to do push-ups instead of wanting a cigarette. It has been about two-and-a-half months since I had my last cigarette! If anyone ever tells you that self hypnosis can’t be used to stop smoking, send them to this blog!

Ladies Addiction To Chicken Nuggets Is Cured!

Author: Jay  |  Category: Hypnosis In The News, Hypnosis Mind Control, Uncategorized  |  Comments (0)  |  Add Comment

Can you imagine living on nothing but chicken nuggets? I’m sure McDonalds would love you, but unfortunately, your body wouldn’t!

According to Pinnacle Therapy, a lady in the UK had a serious chicken nugget addiction, and used hypnosis mind control to heal herself, and start to eat a wider variety of food.

Here is a little bit of the article…

After an amazing eighteen years of eating only chicken nuggets and chips, student Carla Laban has a healthy diet at least, thanks to hypnosis.

When Carla was two, chicken nuggets were the only good that did not make Carla throw up violently.

From that point on, Carla would skip breakfast every day and have nuggets for both dinner and lunch. This meant she was eating around 30 nuggets daily, at an average cost of £5 per day.

Thanks to hypnotherapy, Carla is now starting to eat pasta and vegetables.

Carla said:

“I can remember having chicken nuggets and chips for the first and thinking, ‘I can eat this without being sick. Before that, I couldn’t eat anything without having a panic attack and my throat tightening up. I couldn’t even stand the smell of other food. I used to get ill quite a lot. While classmates would have a cold for a week, I’d have one for four. People thought I was being fussy. They didn’t understand that I physically couldn’t eat anything else.”

I guess you can use hypnosis mind control in more ways than I ever expected!

The 5 Funniest But Totally Fake Hypnosis Videos

Author: Jay  |  Category: Hypnosis Mind Control  |  Comments (0)  |  Add Comment

If this isn’t your first time visiting this blog, you know how much I dislike stage hypnosis. However, since it’s a holiday weekend, I decided to give my readers a few good laughs!

Below, I have put together a list of the 5 funniest but totally fake hypnosis videos. In one of the videos, the actors are even interviewed afterward, and admit to it being completely fake.

#5 – The Orgasm Hand Shake

In this video, you can skip forward to about 4 minutes into the video. The hypnotist causes a girl to have an orgasm every time she shakes a guys hand. She could have done a better acting job if you ask me, but it was still funny to watch!

#4 – Street Hypnosis Gets Out Of Hand

In this video, there are interviews with the actors who were supposedly “hypnotized”. They admit to it being fake, but it’s still very funny. Especially when the big guy starts stripping!

#3 – The Dummy Falls For A Dummy

Here is another one from the Ricki Lake Show. This one is a little bit more funny than the orgasm hand shake. A single “Player” gets hypnotized into hitting on a mannequin.

#2 – The Cheating Husband

Montel Williams features a hypnosis who makes a lady believe that some guy is her husband, and he is cheating on her with a young girl.

#1 – Hypnotized In Vegas

You are going to laugh a lot during this video! First, wait until you see him smack the participants into hypnosis, then he gets a few guys to grind with him during Genuine’s “My Pony” song. I wont ruin the rest for you, so just click play!

Does Your School Have A Hypnosis Study Group?

Author: Jay  |  Category: Hypnosis In The News, Hypnosis Mind Control  |  Comment (1)  |  Add Comment

In an older post, I talked about how you can pass every class with ease, using hypnosis mind control. Up until now, I didn’t realize that there were actually hypnosis study groups in a few major colleges!

West Virginia University is one of those schools that has a hypnosis study group. In an article that appeared in WVU’s school newspaper, Jessica Hammond talks about how hypnosis helps the students have a better focus on studying.

It’s great to see that the image of hypnosis mind control is improving! I love the fact that people are now able to see the difference between stage hypnosis and real hypnosis!

How The Computer Mouse Will Become Obsolete

Author: Jay  |  Category: Misc. Mind Stuff  |  Comments (0)  |  Add Comment

Do you ever think about everything that goes on inside of your mind when you use a mouse? Basically, your mind tells your hand where it wants to move the cursor on the screen. Thats how powerful the mind is! I bet you thought you didn’t have the ability to move things, using only your mind!

One of the best things about technology is that it is always evolving. The mouse, while it is still an ingenious invention, is definitely going through an amazing evolution! Emotiv Systems, based in San Fransisco, CA, is taking it upon themselves to speed up the evolution.

Watch this video to learn more, to see what I am talking about!

I know this has absolutely nothing to do with hypnosis mind control, but I thought it was a great way to show you just how powerful the mind really is! You can use your mind to control video games, and instant message, so I’m sure you can put your mind to work on more important things!

Just like VHS lost the battle to DVD’s, and Cassette tapes lost the battle to CD’s, if Emotiv Systems can prove to the world that their technology works, I can see them turning the mouse into a thing of the past!

4 Ways You Experience Hypnosis Every Day

Author: Jay  |  Category: Hypnosis Mind Control  |  Comments (0)  |  Add Comment

If I told you that you were hypnotized on at least 5 different occasions throughout the day, would you believe me? Most hypnosis skeptics are ready to close out this page, and move on to the next philosophy that they can shoot down, but take a few minutes of your time, and open up your mind. Give your conscious mind a break, and let your subconscious mind analyze what I have to say.

The Edge Of The Seat Effect

Do you remember the last action-thriller movie that you watched? If you enjoyed the movie, you were probably so drawn into it, you were sitting on the edge of your seat. That is what I like to call “The Edge Of The Seat effect”.

This is a very common way that you experience hypnosis on a daily basis. It may not come from an action-thriller film, but if you watch any type of television, you fall into a hypnotic state. Without this hypnotic state, you would not be able to concentrate on whatever it is that you are watching. Your conscious mind must turn off, or it will be thinking about everything except for what is happening on the television.

Sing-A-Long Effect

Have you ever been driving in your car, blasting your favorite song as loud as it can get? I bet at some point, you started to sing along with it. How were you able to pay attention to the road? How did you know exactly where to turn, or when to hit your breaks, but still sing in perfect unity with the music?

I also want you to ask yourself this question. Why do you have so much trouble retaining the information that will be on your next exam, but have no problems remembering the words to a song? You don’t even have to think about the words, because your subconscious throws them out for you. When you really sit back and think about it, it’s mind blowing! Imagine if you could use “The Sing-A-Long Effect”, and put it to work for more important things in life…

The Routine

Your alarm clock sounds, you reach over and either hit the snooze, or jump out of bed. That decision was made subconsciously. You brush your teeth, take a shower, and if you have children, you wake them for school. It becomes a routine – a morning routine. Your subconscious becomes programmed with a guide that it can call on when it needs it the most.

Think about one of your routines. What usually happens when something disturbs the routine? Doesn’t it make you feel rushed? You can feel something inside of yourself telling you that something isn’t right.

Imagine if you were able to program your mind with something like a routine whenever you wanted to! The possibilities are endless with what you can do to help yourself through life. That’s what self hypnosis mind control is all about!

Conversation

Do you ever sit around and watch people have conversation? You probably notice a lot more than just words being exchanged during the conversation. If you watch closely, you will see facial expressions, body language, and hand movements. When you combine those three things with words, you have conversation. Anything else is just an exchange of words. There is definitely a clear difference between exchanging words, and having conversation

During a conversation, you don’t usually think about what you will say next. You probably don’t think about body language, facial expressions, or hand movements either. Your subconscious does the work for you. Does that sound like hypnosis to you? Is your conscious mind occupied so that your subconscious mind can take over? That’s the essence of hypnosis!

If you are new to this blog, or you haven’t seen the post that I wrote about my friend Mark, and how he learned about the hypnotic powers of conversation, I really suggest you take a look at it. It is truly a great story about how he started from nothing, got a job in sales, and used conversational hypnosis to become the number 1 salesman at his dealership- all in a 6 month period.

Skeptics, are you still here?

If so, congratulations for sticking it through! As you have probably realized, you experience a form of hypnosis pretty often, you just never really thought about it as being in a hypnotic state. If you disagree, you are entitled to your opinion, and I want to thank you for at least approaching this with an open mind.

Can You Really Trust The CIA? Even If They Can Hypnotize You?

Author: Jay  |  Category: Hypnosis In The News, Hypnosis Mind Control  |  Comments (0)  |  Add Comment

So far in this blog, I have been sharing positive ways that you can use hypnosis mind control to better yourself. In this post, I am going to show you the opposite end of the spectrum. Hypnosis is such a powerful weapon, and sometimes it falls into the hands of the wrong people.

Take the CIA for example… In no way am I against the CIA, so let me make that clear first, but in the past, they have used mind control techniques in negative ways. Sure, their actions may have made our country a safer place to raise our children in, but they didn’t always care about the dangers that using such techniques could bring.

Watch this short video featuring accounts of actual former CIA Operatives. They reveal shocking reports about how the CIA used hypnosis mind control in more ways than one!

“Wars are not won on the battlefield. They are won in the minds of people”

5 Positive Affirmations For Bloggers With The Block

Author: Jay  |  Category: Hypnosis Mind Control, Positive Affirmations  |  Comments (0)  |  Add Comment

Running the Hypnosis Mind Control Blog, or any blog for that matter, is a lot of work! Not only do you have to stay on top of the latest news in your niche, but you have to write informative articles on a regular basis.

Coming up with new stuff to write about is by far the most challenging part of blogging. Even if you are super passionate about your subject, you have probably experienced a little bit of bloggers block.

Even problogger.net’s Darren Rowse has experienced bloggers block, and he is one of the most successful bloggers around! I read his blog daily, and in this post, he talks about a few ways that he gets through it.

I purposely listen to music, go to the movies, watching the news, read a variety of books, magazines and newspapers, hang out with creative and innovative people, get out in the vegetable patch, do some photography etc to engage my senses and fill my brain with new ideas. When I do this I generally find that I come up with more interesting ideas and am more productive.

As you can see, he uses the most powerful blogging tool he has! He stimulates his mind! Each and every one of those activities stimulates his mind. The mind is so amazing, and it can do wonders to get you back in the zone!

As great as that list is, I’m pretty surprised to see that positive affirmations are not mentioned. In my opinion, positive affirmations are the most powerful method of getting you out of that funk!

Think of a positive affirmation as a shiny new iPhone. You bought it so your conscious mind can get in touch with your unconscious mind. When your conscious mind wants to tell your unconscious mind something, it sends it a text message with a few words of encouragement.

Sometimes, all we need is a few words of encouragement to get us back on track! Below, I will share 5 positive affirmations that I use when I am having trouble coming up with new content for my blogs

Feel free to use them! If they help, I would love for you to let me know how it goes! Even if they don’t work for you, drop a comment in the box, and maybe I can find another way to help you!

The 5 Positive Affirmations For Bloggers With the Block

1. My mind is a sponge, over flowing with water. Its time to wring it out.

Think of a sponge, filled with water. The water makes it very heavy, just like your brain is heavy with ideas.

2. Ideas are for inventors, I create masterpiece blog posts!

This affirmation will change your mind’s thought process from coming up with ideas, to coming up with blog posts. Anyone can come with an idea, but only a blogger can come up with a masterpiece blog post.

3. Everyone is waiting to read my next post. They love my writing style, and they love my ideas no matter what!

We like to feel like we are depended on. Its human nature. Using this affirmation will tell your unconscious mind that people are depending on you. It also tells your unconscious mind that your readers love your ideas, no matter what!

4. If I let my mind speak to my hands, it will tell them what to type.

Just as Darren Rowse said, when you are experiencing the block, it helps to just start writing. Turn some ambient music on, get comfortable, and write about whatever is on your mind. When the mind is given the opportunity to work on its own,you will be amazed with the ideas that it can come up with!

5. If I check enough doors in my mind, sooner or later, I will find the room full of ideas

Your mind has a lot of stuff going on inside of it. Sometimes, it’s easy to lose focus on what you should be thinking about (blog post ideas). Thats when you need to get your mind back on track! Thats when you need to tell it to focus on the doors of your mind, until it finds the one with the ideas!

If you are unfamiliar with how positive affirmations work, basically, all you have to do is relax your mind, and repeat the positive affirmation a few times. I usually repeat it until my whole body is totally relaxed.

I hope the next time you are going through bloggers block, these affirmations help you! Good luck, don’t give up, and keep blogging!
