Running the Hypnosis Mind Control Blog, or any blog for that matter, is a lot of work! Not only do you have to stay on top of the latest news in your niche, but you have to write informative articles on a regular basis.

Coming up with new stuff to write about is by far the most challenging part of blogging. Even if you are super passionate about your subject, you have probably experienced a little bit of bloggers block.

Even problogger.net’s Darren Rowse has experienced bloggers block, and he is one of the most successful bloggers around! I read his blog daily, and in this post, he talks about a few ways that he gets through it.

I purposely listen to music, go to the movies, watching the news, read a variety of books, magazines and newspapers, hang out with creative and innovative people, get out in the vegetable patch, do some photography etc to engage my senses and fill my brain with new ideas. When I do this I generally find that I come up with more interesting ideas and am more productive.

As you can see, he uses the most powerful blogging tool he has! He stimulates his mind! Each and every one of those activities stimulates his mind. The mind is so amazing, and it can do wonders to get you back in the zone!

As great as that list is, I’m pretty surprised to see that positive affirmations are not mentioned. In my opinion, positive affirmations are the most powerful method of getting you out of that funk!

Think of a positive affirmation as a shiny new iPhone. You bought it so your conscious mind can get in touch with your unconscious mind. When your conscious mind wants to tell your unconscious mind something, it sends it a text message with a few words of encouragement.

Sometimes, all we need is a few words of encouragement to get us back on track! Below, I will share 5 positive affirmations that I use when I am having trouble coming up with new content for my blogs

Feel free to use them! If they help, I would love for you to let me know how it goes! Even if they don’t work for you, drop a comment in the box, and maybe I can find another way to help you!

The 5 Positive Affirmations For Bloggers With the Block

1. My mind is a sponge, over flowing with water. Its time to wring it out.

Think of a sponge, filled with water. The water makes it very heavy, just like your brain is heavy with ideas.

2. Ideas are for inventors, I create masterpiece blog posts!

This affirmation will change your mind’s thought process from coming up with ideas, to coming up with blog posts. Anyone can come with an idea, but only a blogger can come up with a masterpiece blog post.

3. Everyone is waiting to read my next post. They love my writing style, and they love my ideas no matter what!

We like to feel like we are depended on. Its human nature. Using this affirmation will tell your unconscious mind that people are depending on you. It also tells your unconscious mind that your readers love your ideas, no matter what!

4. If I let my mind speak to my hands, it will tell them what to type.

Just as Darren Rowse said, when you are experiencing the block, it helps to just start writing. Turn some ambient music on, get comfortable, and write about whatever is on your mind. When the mind is given the opportunity to work on its own,you will be amazed with the ideas that it can come up with!

5. If I check enough doors in my mind, sooner or later, I will find the room full of ideas

Your mind has a lot of stuff going on inside of it. Sometimes, it’s easy to lose focus on what you should be thinking about (blog post ideas). Thats when you need to get your mind back on track! Thats when you need to tell it to focus on the doors of your mind, until it finds the one with the ideas!

If you are unfamiliar with how positive affirmations work, basically, all you have to do is relax your mind, and repeat the positive affirmation a few times. I usually repeat it until my whole body is totally relaxed.

I hope the next time you are going through bloggers block, these affirmations help you! Good luck, don’t give up, and keep blogging!
