If I told you that you were hypnotized on at least 5 different occasions throughout the day, would you believe me? Most hypnosis skeptics are ready to close out this page, and move on to the next philosophy that they can shoot down, but take a few minutes of your time, and open up your mind. Give your conscious mind a break, and let your subconscious mind analyze what I have to say.
The Edge Of The Seat Effect
Do you remember the last action-thriller movie that you watched? If you enjoyed the movie, you were probably so drawn into it, you were sitting on the edge of your seat. That is what I like to call “The Edge Of The Seat effect”.
This is a very common way that you experience hypnosis on a daily basis. It may not come from an action-thriller film, but if you watch any type of television, you fall into a hypnotic state. Without this hypnotic state, you would not be able to concentrate on whatever it is that you are watching. Your conscious mind must turn off, or it will be thinking about everything except for what is happening on the television.
Sing-A-Long Effect
Have you ever been driving in your car, blasting your favorite song as loud as it can get? I bet at some point, you started to sing along with it. How were you able to pay attention to the road? How did you know exactly where to turn, or when to hit your breaks, but still sing in perfect unity with the music?
I also want you to ask yourself this question. Why do you have so much trouble retaining the information that will be on your next exam, but have no problems remembering the words to a song? You don’t even have to think about the words, because your subconscious throws them out for you. When you really sit back and think about it, it’s mind blowing! Imagine if you could use “The Sing-A-Long Effect”, and put it to work for more important things in life…
The Routine
Your alarm clock sounds, you reach over and either hit the snooze, or jump out of bed. That decision was made subconsciously. You brush your teeth, take a shower, and if you have children, you wake them for school. It becomes a routine – a morning routine. Your subconscious becomes programmed with a guide that it can call on when it needs it the most.
Think about one of your routines. What usually happens when something disturbs the routine? Doesn’t it make you feel rushed? You can feel something inside of yourself telling you that something isn’t right.
Imagine if you were able to program your mind with something like a routine whenever you wanted to! The possibilities are endless with what you can do to help yourself through life. That’s what self hypnosis mind control is all about!
Conversation
Do you ever sit around and watch people have conversation? You probably notice a lot more than just words being exchanged during the conversation. If you watch closely, you will see facial expressions, body language, and hand movements. When you combine those three things with words, you have conversation. Anything else is just an exchange of words. There is definitely a clear difference between exchanging words, and having conversation
During a conversation, you don’t usually think about what you will say next. You probably don’t think about body language, facial expressions, or hand movements either. Your subconscious does the work for you. Does that sound like hypnosis to you? Is your conscious mind occupied so that your subconscious mind can take over? That’s the essence of hypnosis!
If you are new to this blog, or you haven’t seen the post that I wrote about my friend Mark, and how he learned about the hypnotic powers of conversation, I really suggest you take a look at it. It is truly a great story about how he started from nothing, got a job in sales, and used conversational hypnosis to become the number 1 salesman at his dealership- all in a 6 month period.
Skeptics, are you still here?
If so, congratulations for sticking it through! As you have probably realized, you experience a form of hypnosis pretty often, you just never really thought about it as being in a hypnotic state. If you disagree, you are entitled to your opinion, and I want to thank you for at least approaching this with an open mind.
