It’s that time again! Its time to go back to school! Its time to sit through those boring lectures, with the professor that speaks in monotone. And, as horrible as it sounds, its time to get back to studying.
Don t get me wrong. Most students, including myself, enjoy going to school. Sure, sometimes it can get boring and repetitive, but there is just something about feeding my mind with the unknown that I just love!
I’m sure that you share my belief that studying is by far the worst part of going to school. I want to learn while I’m in school, not at home! If I’m forced to learn at home (studying), why am I paying to go to school?
Well, as much as I hate studying, I have found a way to get something valuable out of it. No matter how boring it is, I can get through it, and actually understand everything that I was studying.
Let Me Take You Back To March Of 2008 – Summer Semester Registration
This past summer, I had a couple of the roughest courses possible (in my opinion anyways). My major is International Business, and we were required to have 8 credit hours of a foreign language. I picked Japanese.
Like a lot of schools, my school offers abbreviated 5 week semesters in the summer. Its a great deal, but it has a major downfall. You are expected to learn a whole semesters worth of information within 5 weeks! Plus, most 4 credit classes are about 4 hours long!
The first Japanese class was being offered in the first 5 weeks, and the second class was during the second 5 weeks, so I decided to register for both of them. That way, I could get them both out of the way during the summer.
I was taking two semesters of Japanese in a 10 week period! I never thought I could do it, but I ended up getting an A during the first semester, and a B during the second semester.
How Did I Pass With Such Ease?
*If you are new to this blog, or you don’t believe in hypnosis, please refer to this post before reading on. An uneducated early judgment of what I am about to say may cause you to never come back to my blog again, and I don’t want that!*
Hypnosis mind control – I hypnotized my mind into absorbing the information much quicker, and much more efficiently. I’ve been using conversational hypnosis for quite some time before this summer, but I never once thought that hypnosis could help me in school! If it helped me, Im sure it can help you too!
While Google’n-it-up (thats what I call searching Google) for study tips one day, I found a hypnosis forum that was talking about a speed learning hypnosis program (click for info). Since I already know hypnosis is real, and it does work, I was immediately excited!
This program is based upon 2 decades worth of technological breakthroughs in brainwave enhancement research. The research shows that certain frequencies and rhythms can cause your mind to absorb information much faster.
You can read more about the research here.
The First Day I Had The Program
The first day that I had the program was the first day of class. We were given the whole Hiragana chart to memorize. For those of you unfamiliar with Hiragana, it’s one of the groups of characters that stand for certain syllable sounds in the Japanese language.
That night, I sat in my bed with headphones on, listening to my new speed learning program, and studied the chart. The sounds coming from my headphones really relaxed me, and put me into a trance. It wasn’t a deep trance, but it was deep enough to be oblivious to everything besides studying!
I swear, after about 10 minutes of covering each symbol one at a time, and guessing in my mind what it was, I had the whole chart down! I was completely amazed! I never gave myself a shot at learning those things before the next class, but I did it!
How Did It Go?
I ended up picking the language up pretty easily! I wouldn’t say that I’m fluent in Japanese yet, but there are still intermediate and advanced classes to be taken! Not only did the speed learning program help me pass the class, but it also caused me to love the language!
